Ingredients
Onion 35%, crust flour (WHEAT flour, salt, yeast), water, WHEAT flour, palm oil, beer 1% (water, malted grains, hops), wheat starch, salt, dextrose, cornmeal, sugar, modified starch (contains VETE), flavoring, baking powder (E500, E450), thickening agent (E412).
Preparation
Please do not defrost before cooking.
Oven
Preheat oven to 220°C and evenly distribute the battered onion rings on a baking tray (preferably use a sheet of baking paper). Cook in the middle of the oven for 15-20 minutes (10-12 minutes in a convection oven) or until they have a nice golden brown color. Stir and flip gently after half the cooking time. The cooking time can vary between different ovens. Sprinkle some salt and serve.
Air fryer
Heat to 180°C. Cook the battered onion rings for 8-12 minutes or until golden brown ad crispy. Flip the onion rings after half the cooking time. Sprinkle lightly with salt before serving.
Deep fryer
Heat the oil to 175 ° C and fry the onion rings from frozen for 1-2 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Don’t leave the deep fryer unattended while cooking.
